Who manages your largest investment is the most important question you can ask.  Who is North Star?  We are Real Estate investors with high end portfolios of our own. Our first-hand experience stretches over multiple decades and we have pretty much seen it all.  Managing from an owner’s perspective is vital; we are not a company out to make a quick buck, we were built for results.  North Star is not a discount property management company.  Our processes and procedures have been honed over many years in response to what we as owners need to be profitable and successful. This knowledge is what we now provide for you. Our operations team is the very best in the business, with cross trained skills and a wealth of experience.  Property management is not our job, it is our passion. Our goal is to place the best tenant at the highest market rent, as soon as possible.

Faith is responsible for the long-term relationships that make our company stand out. We know that properties are intimately personal – for homeowners needing caretakers and for residents seeking a home. She is our road warrior and usually drives around with her bike strapped to her bike rack, ready to ride when the mood strikes. Faith grew up in Central Oregon and has worked the last several years in local property management, developing new relationships and fortifying old ones with owners, tenants, vendors, and our community. If you can’t find her making connections at the office or mountain biking, you can find her hiking, playing sand volleyball, or chasing after her two lively daughters.

An operations expert and entrepreneur, Kale is the Swiss army knife at the company. As an owner of North Star, Kale takes pride in the success of the business, but balances this with making sure that each and every Owner and Tenant have a pleasant experience when working with us. If he’s not sitting at his desk, you will most likely find him on a mountain bike, snowboard or surfboard.

Kate Dayton


Kate controls one of the most important aspects of the management process: daily accounting. However, bookkeeping is just one of her talents. With an eye for business and a global view of our client needs, Kate has a hand in everything at North Star – from marketing, to accounting, to operational procedures. As the person in charge of collecting rents, Kate leads our mantra of “firm but fair” with our tenants and is the first step in creating the productive relationship between owners, manager and tenants.

Alli Halley

Administrative Assistant

Alli comes to North Star with a background in hospitality, sales and law. As the Administrative Assistant, she is the team’s right hand man. She wears multiple hats to ensure business is running efficiently and effectively. Alli lives in Wilsonville and volunteers for a theater in Beaverton.

Claire grew up in the Bay Area and applies her varied background in purchasing, sales and office management to North Star operations. She prides herself on her strong sense of justice and focuses on being solution oriented. Claire spends time outside of work enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with her beautiful daughter and loving husband.

Jennifer is our newest addition to the North Star team, coming from a background in Journalism. As the Leasing Coordinator she is the first stop on our tenants’ journey, assisting all tenants with general inquiries and ensuring the application-to-lease process is as seamless as possible. Jennifer lives in Salem with her husband, and outside of work she enjoys trail running with her dog Magnus, rock climbing and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
